The Friendship Forever Fund 

Investing seeds today to ensure God’s ministry blossoms now and for tomorrow!

In 2022, Friendship Baptist Church established the Friendship Forever Fund, a permanent endowment fund held and managed for Friendship at the Capitol Region Community Foundation headquartered in Lansing. 

The mission, ministries and operations of Friendship Baptist Church will be supported by cash distributions made from the fund annually. Distributions from the fund can only legally be made to support the work of Friendship Baptist Church.  

Gifts of any size can be made to grow the Friendship Forever Fund:

As part of your required minimum distribution from a retirement account if you are aged 72 or older. 

Donors can also make gifts to grow the fund as part of your estate planning: 
You can name the Friendship Forever Fund at the Capitol Region Community Foundation as beneficiary of an insurance policy, a retirement fund or your general estate assets. 

Following is suggested language for a designation in a will:
"I hereby bequeath [amount] and 00/100 dollars (or 10% of my estate proceeds) to the Friendship Forever Fund, an endowment held for benefit of Friendship Baptist Church at the Capitol Region Community Foundation, located at 330 Marshal St., Suite 300, Lansing, MI 48912, [EIN: 38-2776652].”
