About Friendship Baptist Church

Founded in 1934, Friendship Baptist Church is a community of baptized believers professing faith in the Trinity - 
The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit - and in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. 

The Reverend Dr. Clyde D. Carnegie served as pastor of Friendship Baptist Church from 2010 until his death, May 11, 2023. He was honored as the first Pastor Emeritus of Friendship Baptist Church. The Reverend James Douglas currently serves as Interim Pastor. The full list of officers includes the ministerial staff, governing bodies of Deacons and Trustees and other elected and appointed officers. 

The Church Covenant reflects the promise members of Friendship Baptist Church have made to God, Our Church and each other as Christians.

The Articles of Faith outlines the principles to which we as Christians of the Baptist Faith aspire.  

The mission and vision of Friendship Baptist Church are grounded in core values defined by scripture. 

Friendship Baptist Church members are guided by these affirmations of belief and faith.

Friendship Facilities are available for member use and external rental.  Facilities can be reserved except on Sundays during weekly worship and Sunday School.

The Friendship Forever Fund is a permanent endowment created to support the ministries, mission and operations of Friendship Baptist Church.  It grows through current and future gifts.  Consider making your gift to grow the fund!
